I had always wanted to honeymoon in Paris. A little French cafe, the man of my dreams, and I would be one happy girl. Years later, living on a tour guide’s salary… my Paris dream was fading fast.
Until… my oh so cool sisters chipped in for an Epcot trip that brought my honeymoon dream back to life! There I was with Mr. Right, caught in a rain storm, and wonderfully trapped in a “French Cafe” in the middle of the U.S.A! French Music playing in the background… perfect!
You too can have a night of exotic world travels right in your own home! All you need is a little imagination!
First, the atmosphere must be set…Go to the music sitewww.pandora.com and type in the country of your choice. Let’s start with say… Italy! Music will be streaming into your house so quick, you will think your family is sailing on a gondola in Venice! Ah.. relaxing. Remember- Imagination!
Now for some Easy Ingredients- that will make you look and feel like a gourmet!
~ 1 Jar Of Pizza Sauce
~ 1 Large Tomato
~Bag of Fresh Basil Leaves
~Small Package of Mozzerella
~Instant Pizza Dough (Pillsbury)
MmmmGood!
Spread the instant dough on a cookie pan, and have the kids spread on the sauce. Lay some sliced tomatoes and chunks of fresh mozzarella on the dough. Masterfully rip off some fresh pieces of basil leaves and throw them on your pizza with a “Bam!” Cook as per directions on dough wrapper, slice and serve!

Pair with a Convenient bag of Caesar Salad!
Who says there wasn’t any money in the budget for a vacation?!
Next time you are hanging with the homeschool gals, you can share how you went to Italy this summer!
Ah..dreams do come true!
