Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue......

No it isnt a wedding. All of these describe our curriculum!

We love to use 'first source' old books for history. When studying a place or an era or a person. Kindle has old book for free download and we have 300 of them downloaded!

(new)

We have always been the 'textbook' type. This year, due to our busy schedule, we are using some Alpha and Omega. You know, they can take their workbooks in the car and write in them. This avoids the trouble of juggling a book and separate paper while 'working away' in a vehicle!. We really like that part of it.

After buying lots of curriculum for our 7 'schoolers' this year....there was just one more thing I needed to get...7th grade science. Well I borrowed that. I dont usually like to borrow but it was necessary. It is so nice to borrow and loan books! Ive loaned out 12 school books to families this year!
