She Danced Before Her King! Jewish Root Mini Book- The Shofar!

Her sisters teased her. Why does she have to spend all of the Sabbath afternoon dancing in the field so, they murmured for all to hear. But she did not care! She was with her King- she His loyal subject! Each piece of grass softening her toes, declaring His care for even the small and finite, like her.

She would sing and praise His law. For He made her glad...and she just had to express her joy! In her mind she heard one hundred shouts of the shofar, calling her spirit to the most Majestic worship before His Holy Throne.

She felt at one with Psalmist just then. His words resonating deep inside her...

Psalm 98:4-8

King James Version (KJV)

4 Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise.

5 Sing unto the Lord with the harp; with the harp, and the voice of a psalm.

6 With trumpets and sound of cornet make a joyful noise before the Lord, the King.

7 Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.

8 Let the floods clap their hands: let the hills be joyful together

Today, dance before God, your Maker. Declare his Reign within your heart! Let your voice be as trumpet song before your King!

Prayer Affirmation:

Let me hear your Trump sound Oh Lord...that I might be with You, my King, forever and ever!
