Looking Farther Down the Road - What Happens When YOU'RE the Veteran...
Whenever I read posts by young moms (and dads) about their joys and fears as they enter their first, second, third...year of homeschooling, I have to admit I'm a little bit envious! You see, I began homeschooling my oldest 13 years ago - he's now 17 and will be a senior at a local charter high school in the fall (that's a story for another time). That's right - the ink is barely dry on last year's report cards and I've already started lesson planning for next year. Some people may call me crazy as they use their summer days to unwind. Oh, I'm sure I'll get there, too. But, in some ways, lesson planning for the next year is rejuvenating for me.
