We invite you to visit our (very simple:) family blog and get to know us better!
It appears to some that I have fallen off of the face of the...internet:) We have been quite busy and blessed of late for which I am truly thankful. Alas something always has to give somewhere and the internet is the first to get neglected I am afraid!
So I find myself too busy to blog because Im too busy doing...what I often blog about! Discipling, showing hospitality to the saints, schooling, 'wifing' (is that a word?) Mostly being a mom though!
At this time of year most of…

The plain truth is, that home trials are one of
the many means by which God sanctifies and
purifies His believing people.

There are so many intelligent Americans - far more than the secular news would give credit for. It seems that the current political climate is drawing the voice of many of these people forward. I stand amazed sometimes when I read the 'comment' section on a news post. These are not necessarily 'Christian' people either. So how much more so, should God fearing, Christian people act on principle?

Hi Brett and Dana, You can upload this video to your blog by clicking the
"get embed code" button under my video. Then you copy and paste the html version of the code to your blog post. Make sure that your blog post setting is on html so you can paste it properly. That is all you have to do. Let me know if you run into any troubles getting it on. Thanks so much. I worked hard to put the info together in only a 15min segment. lol!
The girl I'm talking about was a Sauder from GA who married a Mennonite Stoltzfus a few years ago. She talked about a family similar to yours and the man's name was Brett. But anyway, thank you for your encouragement and I am drawn to your family and what you stand for as well.
Blessings!
No we live in Illinois , we went to the ICHE convention in June.
We are doing really well-thanks so much for asking! We ended up leaving our church which was a hard decision. However, I completely submitted to my hubby and the Lord in the matter, and we are really happy where He has led us. My husband is getting encouraged in his growth as a godly man, and I am feeling a rekindled hunger to study the Word. While it's not a family-integrated church like I would prefer, I have given my concerns to the Lord, and He is already showing my glimpses of how He is working in those areas. Thank you and Brett so much for your prayers. We are seeing such a difference in our spiritual walk and our home!
Blessings,
Hillary (and Brent!)
I have not found a christian support group. Thanks for checking up on me. I still hope to find one as I have had my fill of the secular group I have been attending last year.
