I'm back!! I've been so busy this summer working and just going. But we have started school, so I'm back at home. We have had a great first couple of days. I've gotten most everything going. We still have a lot of work to do on the schoolroom. Abby has a nice desk, but I don't have a desk yet. I'm hoping to have one soon. Most of our schoolroom is still in boxes from the move. So I will be working on those in the coming weeks.

Today we will be discussing Field Trips. The summertime is a great time to go and do some field trips that you might not have had time to do during the school year or because of weather. So start thinking, where would you just love to take your children.

Today we will be discussing having fun with Science during Summer Vacation time. I don't know how many of you will be continueing to school during the summer as we will, but we need to have some fun during this time as well. We need to allow our children time outside. I've done some research and found some really fun science activities to do during the warmer months. They are fun but educational as well. Many of these activities will be good to do outside. We did a short but fun science activity today that I thought I would share. We have been studying Classifying Animals. So today we Classified Donuts to show how classification works. Here are some pictures.
