When doing yearly evaluations I use the Brigance CIBS-R (Comprehensive Inventory of Basic Skills-Revised) It is a wonderful diagnostic test for readiness skills through 8-9th grade. Children that are older but with significant delays can also use this test. Are you a member of HSLDA? I'm pretty sure you can "rent" the test materials from them. I hope this is of some help.
