Stonewall Academy Homeschool

I am so excited about this upcoming school year! This will be our 1st year of homeschooling. We are almost all set with curriculum and organization. I am sure that I will probably change things around many times ones we dig in. I am also very ready for a set schedule. All of this summer running and staying up late it wearing on all of us.I am loving all of the resources and connections available online for the hs community. I am looking forward to meeting new people and learning ideas through this site.All that I really have left to do is sit down and figure out dates for the year when we will take breaks (holidays, vacation, & stuff). I have put this off while waiting for my husbands schedule. We are a military family so we are waiting to see if he will be getting orders to deploy. This will have an impact on when we start, stop, or have breaks.Are there any other military families that have suggestions based on schooling around deployments?
