I really know very little about the homeschool channel maybe some of you could feel me in on how the channel has benefited your homeschool.

Can anyone tell me the requirements for homeschool graduates in MS? Do they get a GED or regular diploma? Also wondering if it is legal for a child to be homeschooled by someone other than the parent/guardian?

Barry Stebbing, Creator of How Great Thou ART Publications, has been traveling the United States and Canada with his wife Saundra, teaching beginning drawing and painting classes to homeschoolers for 15 years. It is estimated that they have personally instructed over 60,000 homeschoolers in this manner. The purpose of this course is to inspire these students to do good works, to show them that God has
given each and every one of them the ability to create, and that drawing and painting are learned disciplines. The course includes teaching many of the basic fundamentals of beginning drawing and painting, an introduction to art appreciation
(studying the great masters), and new techniques in the use of colored markers and colored pencils.

To introduce the students to:

• The Godly Purpose of Art
• Fundamentals in Drawing &
Painting
• Techniques of Applying Color
• Benefits of Pen & Ink
• Colored Pencils & Markers
• Art as a LEARNED Discipline
• Great Masters in Art


Student Information
2½ hours per session • Classes are for ages 5-adults • Students will receive art appreciation, beginning drawing, beginning painting, and an introduction to colored pencils & colored markers • Price for class is $23.00 per student for the
entire 3 days • Parents are encouraged to take the class (same price as students). 5 year olds must be accompanied by an adult • Only parents participating in class need to pay - all parents/adults welcome to observe. No toddlers please •
Please arrive 15 minutes ahead of time on the first day for check-in and supplies.
• All materials provided with exception of colored pencils and washable markers. Each student will need a standard set of 8 colored pencils and set of 8 washable markers.• There will be home assignments during the 3-day session. Recommended* art materials will be available for purchase at the class.• Cost of Prismacolor colored pencils: • *Standard set of 12- $7.50 or (optional) set of 24- $15.00• *Set of 8 watercolor markers - $4.00 • Each student will need at least a standard set of colored
pencils and markers.

I love the freedom we have in Mississippi to homeschool.
