This is the place to list and discuss free homeschooling resources. Please do not post fake free stuff, like a preview chapter of my new novel. We're talking real useful, econo-busting kind of free resources.

Comment by Eric J. Young on August 21, 2012 at 9:53am This month on www.discoveryandfun.com, Professor Clod has a feature we think you will really like. He has videos featuring a real live, living and breathing, Bible Archaeologist! His name is Luke Chandler, and he travels to Jerusalem each year to help with an archaeological excavation (dig) there. On the videos the professor features on the Clues and News page, Luke Chandle shares some really interesting information about the place where David fought against the giant Philistine named Goliath.
David is also the subject of LOBOC’s story this month, and we think you will have great FUN reading the story and doing the puzzle!
Comment by Eric J. Young on July 17, 2012 at 1:39pm Professor Clod just uploaded the Discovery and Fun update for July.
The “Clues and News” feature this month is Kids Corner at the Alpha Omega Institute website. These guys know loads of incredible stuff about Creation and science. It is definitely worth your time to check them out!
Hey, have you played the Tic-Tac-Toe game yet? You can listen to LOBOC’s story (he has all the clues to the questions) and then link to it through “Puzzles and Fun”. When you do, please write and let the Professor know how much you like it.

Professor Clod uploaded the June update for www.discoveryandfun.com today.
There is a great video on the Clues and News page about being an Archaeologist. There is also a link for a web-site with a free home school curriculum called "Archaeology and the Bible"
The Professor also added a new game on the Puzzles and Fun page. It uses the Memory Jog questions to play Tic-Tac-Toe. Please try out the new game and let us know what you think about it.

I thought I share some of my favorite Freebie websites.
www.SuperTeacherWorksheets.com Not all is free, but they have some great free worksheets.
www.harcourtschool.com Harcourt is the publisher of most text books used in schools. They have games, and videos for all subjects.
www.education.com also have a lot of great worksheets for FREE. You have to create an account, but worth it!
www.theeducationcenter.com is from the creators of Mailbox Magazine. A great creative resource for teachers. You can pay for the gold membership and get a digital copy of the magazine, and tons of creative worksheets/ projects or just stick with the free portion. There are still a ton of free projects/ worksheets too :)
www.homeschoolshare.com I love lapbooks!!!! the whole website is made by homeschool people for home school people. Gotta love that!!!
Don't forget all the FREE apps for your smart phone. You can do "school" on the go.
Good Luck!
Comment by Eric J. Young on April 19, 2012 at 10:23am Please check out the Discovery and Fun update for April now on-line at www.discoveryandfun.com!!! Be sure to stop by the Clues and News page. Professor Clod has discovered a great web-site for kids to research safely on the web.
Also, SonPowered Publications, Inc. is producing a series of short animated videos that teach counting using the Bible. Please take a look at the video for the number "7", at http://youtu.be/QGoKcD5rCMg, and let us know what you think.
