Thanks - here are a little more helpful sites for self published authors.
This site has templates (not all Christian mind you) for ebooks free,

I made this one combining the 3D site below and the ebook template site listed above.

That's great, Evonne!

Also, if you need to crop and scale it, you can do that free at www.lunapic.com
Here is how my 3D cover looks on my site :) :

Comment by Lee B. Woods on February 28, 2013 at 4:50pm Hello all, I'm new to the channel. It sure looks like a great place to be, especially with all the great ideas I see on almost every page. I'm trying to find a way to introduce my new book, Finding King Onomatopoeia and Other Stories, written to lure homeschool middle graders toward learning the art and craft of writing (www.homeschoolwriter1.com). I would appreciate your comments, as I have only those sent in by teachers. One of the 31 episodes is about sentence variety, and the episode is titled, "One Dumb Bank Robber." Thanks so much, and I hope to learn a lot while I'm here.

That's great, Linda! I teach creative writing to homeschoolers, too. :)
Comment by linda head on August 31, 2012 at 3:12pm I've been writing off and on since high school- many yrs ago. We home schooled our 3 children- 23yrs in all. I missed home schooling- our youngest is 22, so I've not taught for awhile. I volunteered to teach Creative Writing at our church home school co-op. I am really looking forward to it. I am looking forward to seeing what people here write, too.
