I work full time as a photographer. My husband and myself own two studios and we own a large chicken farm. We are considering homeschooling our three children next year. They are ages 13, 10 and 8. I have a very flexible schedule so I am hoping to really make this work. Any suggestions?

I am glad to find more AR homeschoolers!  I am a mother of 5 children and am homeschooling the oldest three; K-5, 1st, and 2nd.

I homeschooled for 14 years. My children are now graduated, but I still have a passion for te homeschool movement. I now have my two nieces homeschooling their children. I am confident that it works and that the children are the better for it. I live in the Jacksonville area so let me know when you arrive and I will get contact information for you.

I just joined the site and am happy to find other Arkies. I'm homeschooling my 9 yr. old dyslexic son. This is our first year and have found homeschoolers to be an awesome loving group!

I'm a homeschool graduate. I live in Arkansas with my parents and siblings. My parents have graduated 5 of their 7 children and the last two are just about done too.
I plan on homeschooling once I marry and have children.

Cheers! My wife and I are veteran Home School parents. We used History to teach across the curriculum, and happened to join a Living History Group who presents at Williamsburg, Virginia every year! The program that we present to the public has expanded to the West AND East Coast!
We will be presenting Colonial History at the Reagan Library in May to about 9000 school children, and home school families on Saturday the 8th. In June we will be hosting the Under the Redcoat Venue in Williamsburg, the last weekend in June!

Since I live in North West Arkansas now, I am available to present to the Home School Families there!
Contact Judy Polinski at www.33rdfoot.org to find out about a presentation for your home school group!
Or see where we are presenting next! visit http://www.reaganlibrary.com/ or http://www.history.org the Williamsburg web site for details
