Abby we are so glad ot have the Journey and Trek group this year! Both of those groups, jr high and highschool, are able, according to AWANA, to run their own program separatly or incorporate it into the existing format. I think highschool is one of the most important and rewarding groups! Blessings! MOM

Well hi everybody! So im going to tell you guys some about MY awana experience. I am in the highschool awana class at my church, which is called Journey. We have 11 kids in our class, and, its a really great group, we've got 9 girls and 2 boys (Doesn't get any better than that!! :P) We have alot of fun and still manage to get alot of work done, which is cool. We have council time, handbook time, and game time. Also, I am the secretary in training for our awana club which i really enjoy as well. My pastor's wife is training me, so i get to spend time with her during the week, which is awesome. This is my first and last year doing awana as a kid, next year hopefully i'll be doing awana secretary full time. Also this year I help with check-in, as well as being the awana store manager, which is fun :) I love this program, i love seeing all the kids, and im always sad when they leave at the end of the night. So there it is! God bless you guys =)
