Evonne, yes, some folks definitely do that with both BJU and ABeka.  =o)  I know that Teri Maxwell of Titus 2 did independent style schooling using 90% ABeka.

Have you ever read Managers of Their Schools by her?  Great book!

That is great! Just read it:) I am.still loving ACE. I think it is my fav curriculum and hope to use until college. I even ordered myself their college Greek. Alpha, Beta, Gamma,....:)
I have a friend that uses bju like ACE and lets her kids read and test, without much teaching so I surprised.

We have been just busy doing school around here, but I had time to stop in today!  :)  How is everyone? How is school going?

I recently did a 'myth buster' on Parental Involvement  and ACE if anyone would like to read that.

Evonne, re: BJU it is very teacher intensive.

My kids homeschooled so well today! I let ACE do the teaching, and it went smooth. I am so proud of them today. 3 stars for one. And, great work for others. ACE is really boosting my confidence in my homeschooling abilities!
